Professional  portraiture is a wonderful gift to yourself and those you love for generations to come. A professional business portrait photograph, high impact and uniquely you is an important additional to your marketing plan.

Professional photography that captures life’s important moments – maternity, children, high school seniors, engagements, weddings, 25th and 50th anniversary and all the rest is an important investment.

Portrait Photography Session Fees

The portrait photography session fee is a commission that covers your portrait consultation, portrait capture, image editing, minor retouching, online proof gallery, print consultation and order processing. The Session Fee is paid upon booking your appointment to reserve your time- cash, check or credit card. If you should need to reschedule, the fee is transferable to another session booked within 2 months.

You’ll schedule an appointment at the studio to view your images.  Please be prepared to place your entire print order at that time. An online gallery can be added for convenience after your studio ordering session and will be deleted 2 weeks from the day it is published. Should you need your gallery republished to the web at a later date, there is a $50.00 republishing fee for 5 additional days of viewing and a $100 minimum print order required.

All photo prints are custom printed and designed to last for generations. All prints are purchased a la carte and due to the custom nature of photography, all print orders must be paid for at the time you place your order. Please allow approximately 3 weeks for print orders to arrive.

Includes one hour session, and Preview Image Catalog with Urban Landscapes, Farm & Ranch Settings, Lake area or private residence. Travel locations outside of a 30 mile radius of Conroe, Texas may incur additional charges.

• $200.00 Weekday (between the hours of 8am – 4pm)
• $250.00 Weekends (pending availability)
• $275.00 Holiday Weekends, including Fridays and Mondays of that weekend

Dru is a certified professional photographer, a designation granted by the Professional Photographic Certification Commission, the world’s leading certification agency of imaging professionals.

Those who have earned Certification have passed a comprehensive written examination measuring their technical expertise, and have successfully submitted their work to a panel of judges for review and approval.

A La Carte pricing is for purchasing only a few portraits. Portrait Collections offer the best value and additional portraits may be purchased at the “With Collection” pricing.

• All portraits come in fine linen texture or basic luster finish.
• Each portrait is specially coated for quality, beauty, protection and longevity. Desk and gift sized portraits are digitally signed and wall display portraits are hand signed by the artist.
• All portraits larger than 8×10 are mounted for stability.
• The sizes listed are our most common portrait sized.
• Custom sizes are available.

You will have many beautiful images created during your session, and we will help you choose prints and products that will compliment your home and work within your budget. Payment plans are available upon request. Custom designs and all products must be paid in advance before ordering.

Portrait Collections offer the best value along with significant discounts on additional portrait purchases.

Portrait Collections may be combined or custom prints may be added to your chosen collection at a reduced cost.

Please Note:

Basic retouching is included in all session fees. However Dru Harper PhotoGraphics reserves the right to restrict retouching within the confines of proper portrait photography and within the style of the artist. Anything beyond the removal of minor blemishes is subject to an additional $50.00 per hour retouching fee. Digital artwork is done at the discretion of the artist.

A Few Tips…

• Color, Color, Color…Layer your outfit with color! Textures and fun accessories can complete the look.
• Not Too Trendy…Timeless and Classic looks will last through the years. Your personality will still shine through. But avoid large pictures, graphics, labels and words on shirts and pants. Sometimes it can work, but a lot of the time it doesn’t.
• DON’T PUT IT Off…Book your appointment soon – graduation day will be here before you know it. You’ll have lots to do in the next few months!!!!

Cool Stuff to Know….

• What to wear–When choosing your outfits, bring your favorites, bring some variety.
• Always choose some casual! Jeans and sneakers, some dressy – cute dress, prom dress, guys might want a nice button down and slacks (Mom will love it).
• Letter Jackets, uniforms, bat, ball and glove, football, b-ball, sunglasses, musical instruments – all the things that make YOU who you are — are great to bring along!
• Pets are great too, but bring someone along to manage it while we get all the other cool shots.
• Your car may or may not be everything you want it to be, but it’s the one you have during your Senior Year! Let’s get a picture of you and your vehicle too.
• And last, but not least, bring your cap, gown and tassel if you have them. Also, bring a friend, Mom, Dad or brother or sister if you’d like.

Tips for Hair & Makeup

Try to have your hair cut and styled, colored or permed at least a week or so before your session to give it time to “settle in” and look great! Girls – do your makeup as usual but be sure to bring along your make-up kit for touch ups, hair brush, barrette and bands for a different look.

Deposit Fee of ½ of the session fee is due at booking as a non-refundable retainer. It can be applied to a future session if canceled in advance. Remaining balance is due at the session.
